Awarded Best in Show
Foundry Gallery, August 2023
I paint as an exercise in focus and presence, and I aim to create that same experience for viewers.
Vibrant colors — especially yellows, blues, and oranges — feature prominently in my work, often peeking through more muted tones along imperfect edges and semi-transparent layers.
Ultimately, I strive for paintings that reward a closer look, offering a peaceful or contemplative moment of rest in a world full of distraction.
